The result: a patchwork of conflicting definitions, overlapping requirements, and unenforceable rules. Regulators draft policy blind to how it interacts with existing law. Companies build compliance programs against requirements that shift with every legislative session.

Our Name
"Standard" isn't just a word to us. It represents what's missing in AI governance: shared definitions, common frameworks, interoperable rules. The goal isn't to impose a single standard from the top down.
